Problems with Bottled Water
The Environmental Working Group tested 10 bottles and found contaminants that are the same in tap water. There are even disinfectants way passed the legal limit found in a popular brand that is found on the shelves at locations such as Wal-Mart. These byproducts have been linked to cancers and even reproductive problems in some.
Many people are under the assumption that bottled water is better for you than filtered tap water and that claim is simply a myth. Water is a pure element on the earth and forking out thousands of dollars and even adding to the plastic bottle waste in landfills is nothing I would call “pure” in any way.
The best way to get quality water for you and your family to drink is to filter the tap water right from your own tap. Most filters remove sediment, and other toxins and chemicals right from the source. Bottled water maybe convenient, but it’s just not practical. If there is no other choice but to choose bottled water, think before you consume. Read the label and identify the source in which it comes from. You never know if it’s just a “Joe Schmo” bottling water into plastic bottle through a leaky faucet in a moldy basement.
