Make Your own All-Natural Seed-Sharing Card
Cardstock
Heavy Cellophane or Vellum
Thick Paperboard
Botanical Stamps and Ink or Plant Photo
Seeds
Blank Card
Cut5 the cardstock, cellophane or vellum and paperboard to match the size and shape of the front of your card. Using a template, cut a rectangle, oval or other shape from the center of the cardstock, leaving about an inch to 1/2 of outside border. Align the paperboard with the cardstock and trace or mark the inside of the paperboard. Glue the cellophane or vellum to the back side of the cardstock then adhere the paperboard to the back side of the cellophane, ensuring the cutouts line up.
On the inside of the card, mention the type of seeds you are enclosing and the date they were collected. Close the card and decorate the front of it with the ink stamps, decorative paper or a photo of the plant from which you collected the seeds.
With the cardstock’s front face down, place seeds on the cellophane within the paperboard cutout. Apply glue to the outside edges and neat the edge of the cutout of the paperboard. Next, align the edges of the front of the card with the back of the paperboard and press into place. Keep the card upside down until the glue has dried to prevent the seeds from moving all around inside the card, as well as sticking to the glue itself.
