Finding a Home Energy Advisor

Energy Trust of Oregon offers something known as Energy Trust Advisors that will do a walk through your home to determine if you home is losing energy. You can schedule a free hone energy review and also during this walk through they will teach you how to save energy, save money and also help create a better living environment within your home.

They offer easy options for your home to be reviewed by these Energy Trust Advisors. You can fill out the request form here and then a local representative will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule an appropriate time to meet with you.

You can also contact them via the telephone to schedule a time over the telephone as well, if you don’t have access to the internet. The call center is open for calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (866) 368-7878

The walk through takes about as long as you want it too and as big as your home is. The Home Energy Advisor will walk through your home and recommended to you ways to save energy and where the places in your home are that you might be loosing heat or cooling from inside your home. They will also talk to you about measures you can take to help prevent the lose of energy and for this walk through they will replace your light bulbs that aren’t compact fluorescents with ones that will help you save on money through lighting.
