Pack that package eco-friendly

When many think of shipping a package the first thing that comes to mind is packing peanuts, right? But with many other options that aren’t thought about you can save yourself and the planet the hassle of those Styrofoam peanuts. Here is a few ideas to help you pack those items in a better way, and trust me when I say, these ideas work and prevent breakage on the most delicate of items.
1. Use wrapped peppermint candies. These little candies can, not only add more to a gift, they can also help keep items from breaking. They are wrapped in their own little protective wrapper and will fit along the side and inside of almost anything you ship.
2. Peanuts. Fresh, in the shell or roasted peanuts, are an all natural way of shipping what you want to get to the destination safely.
3. Popped popcorn. Make sure you don’t pop it with a lot of butter and salt though, unless you are wanting to add to the gift giving as a food option. Clean, air-popped popcorn can be placed inside shipping boxes and help prevent breakage or even movement of any item you are shipping.
Of course, these are just a few ideas. With a bit of creativity you too can come up with some grand ideas for shipping gifts or boxes to someone.
